Originally released on CD on the W. Minc label in 1997 and nominated for a ARIA award, I Listen To The Night was guitarist Matt Walker's first release, and saw him teaming up with veteran drummer, Ashley Davies (Models, Wild Pumpkins At Midnight, The Body Electric, etc.).

Playing a quiet, almost ambient brand of roots-blues, it saw them covering tunes by Big Bill Broonzy, Brownie McGhee, Mance Lipscomb et al, as well as some stunning Walker originals.

The start of Walker's illustrious and acclaimed career, the release's popularity saw them playing shows with Jon Spencer, Nick Cave, Cowboys Junkies, Patti Smith/Bob Dylan and more.

This Cheersquad edition is the first time it's ever been released on vinyl. A total classic - highly recommended!!
