A venture into the discovery of GarageBand as a recording project for singer-songwriter Jack Stokes, and the first formation of the band for their debut show at Field Good Festival in the Inman Valley. The album is a collection of playful, surf-rock tunes with a childlike charm, all of which came together naturally over the course of a month. It was recorded out the back of Jack’s parents’ shed with one Shure 57 microphone, which somehow felt just right.
